FAQ

Can I set it for all new users?
Yes. Set it on the template's profiles. Users created from the template get it automatically. Or select multiple users at once.

What does "Display mobile number" do?
Each user's SMS shows their own mobile number. Users without a mobile number send with the customer's default sender instead.

I set "Display mobile number" but Admin shows the default sender. Did it fail?
No. That user has no mobile number, so their SMS goes out with the default sender, and Admin shows what the recipient will see.

Will applying a template overwrite what users chose themselves?
Yes. Applying a template sets the SMS sender on every profile, like every other profile setting.

Can users still change it in the app?
Yes. The app and Admin edit the same setting.

Why don't I see Text (SMS)?
There are no senders to choose from for that user, or the customer is on the old Profiles view.

What is the default SMS sender?
The default SMS sender is NoReply.
