Prerequisites Caller

Recognition requires access to your data via the Kleos REST API. To enable this, the recognition update service must be authorized using a machine-to-machine authentication method with your client’s ID and secret. To obtain these credentials, follow these steps:

  1. Go to Manage Client Applications in the Kleos portal and log in if prompted.
  2. Click Register new app and give your application a name
  3. On the next step, select Client Credentials as the grant type.
  4. Complete the registration to receive your Client ID and Client Secret
  5. Copy both values and store them somewhere safely, they will not be shown again.
  6. Enter the credentials in the corresponding fields to complete the setup.

Configuration steps

  1. Start by clicking "Add application" in the Recognition Configuration Tool. From the list of applications, choose Kleos, as shown below.
  2. Authorize access to the API.
  3. Choose which fields to display in the call notification on an incoming call.
  4. The "Show Contact" script is preconfigured. You can add extra scripts or replace the “Show Contact” script.
  5. Finish the configuration.
