Which APN should I use for Telavox mobile broadband?

For Telavox mobile broadband, use the following settings:

  • APN: internet
  • Username: leave blank
  • Password: leave blank
  • Authentication: none/PAP/CHAP (if a choice is required, select “none” or “auto”)

Often, simply entering the APN and saving is sufficient.

How do I change the APN on a 4G/5G router?

The steps may vary slightly between different brands (e.g., Huawei, ZTE, TP-Link), but the general principle remains the same:

  1. Connect to the router
    1. Connect via Wi-Fi or an Ethernet cable
    2. Open a web browser on your computer or mobile device

  2. Log in to the router's admin page
    1. Type the router's IP address into the address bar, for example, 192.168.0.1 or 192.168.1.1 (this is often found on the underside of the router)
    2. Log in using the username and password (found on the label or in the manual, unless you have changed them)

  3. Navigate to mobile network settings
    1. Look for menus with names similar to:
      1. "Mobile Network,” “WAN,” “Internet Settings,” “Network,” “Mobile Settings,” or something equivalent.
    2. Open the settings for APN or Profile Management.

  4. Create or edit the APN profile
    1. Select an existing profile if one already exists, or create a new one:
      1. Profile name: optional (e.g., “Telavox”)
      2. APN: internet
      3. Username: blank
      4. Password: blank

  5. Save and activate the profile
    1. Click “Save,” “Apply,” or the equivalent button
    2. Ensure that the profile is selected and active

  6. Restart the router
    1. Turn the router off and back on, or use the “Reboot” option within the admin interface
    2. Verify that you now have an active internet connection
