How to add a new user to Telavox?

Administrators can do this via the admin portal.

To add a new user, follow these steps:

1. Go to the Users tab

2. Click on + New User and select Create a User

 

3. Fill in the first name, surname and email address (email address is optional and can be added later if necessary via Account and login). Also select whether the user should receive an onboarding email, with the help of which the user can choose their own password. If you are using departments in your Telavox environment, also fill in the department information for the new user

 

4. If your Telavox environment has users in more than one country, next you can choose the user language, invoice place and delivery place

 

5. Select a user license, and confirm whether you want to use an existing license(if available) or buy a new license. If you are buying a new license, you will also be guided to select a binding time for it

 

6. Select phone numbers to the license

  1. Purchase a number = Choose a new number from our number pool
    1. In this case, next you will be guided to select new numbers from our number pools
  2. Use an existing number = Choose a number that you have already reserved in your Telavox environment or used before
    1. In this case, next you will need to select numbers from your own number pool
  3. Move number from another operator = Port in a number to Telavox (only available in Sweden)
    1. In this case, next you will need to fill in the details of the number you want to port in, such as the name of the current user of the number, its organisation number and the actual requested date for porting

 

7. Select Additional services if needed

 

8. If you are using groups in your Telavox environment, you can choose to add the new user to specific groups

 

9. The last thing to do is just to review the new user's details and confirm the order!

 

If the new user is a mobile user, an order for a SIM card is automatically placed at your address.

Do you already have a SIM card that is not being used?

You can then activate the SIM card by going to SIM card and hardware. When you manually activate a SIM card for a new user, the automatic sending is stopped.

Keep in mind that the user can instead activate eSIM if the mobile phone supports it! The user does this himself via his own login in the Telavox app. See our article on how to order an eSIM.
