What is compensation?
Compensation is what Telavox resellers receive when they sell our products to their customers. A reseller can sell various products from different operators. Each operator provides its own compensation to the reseller. Resellers can receive compensation as Upfront, Open License (ongoing), or SIP (Statistics).
Who receives compensation?
Telavox resellers who sell Telavox products (excluding wholesale, resellers, and service providers).
How does it work?
Billing & Collection sends a compensation document to all resellers, showing how much compensation they will receive from Telavox. There are two payment options:
- The reseller invoices Telavox, and Telavox pays the invoice.
- The reseller is part of Telavox’s self-billing process, where Telavox automatically creates and pays the invoice directly to the reseller.
How often is compensation issued?
Compensation documents are sent out twice a month (mid-month and end of the month). Billing & Collection sends a document with an ID number to each reseller who has made sales during the past two weeks.
What should a reseller’s invoice look like?
The compensation document sent to the reseller twice a month specifies the invoice address, depending on the currency of the compensation. The invoice must be addressed to the appropriate Telavox entity.
The invoice must include:
- The ID or document number.
- 30-day payment terms.
- Reference: "Commission".
- A consolidated invoice is acceptable as long as all ID numbers are included and in the same currency.
Who is responsible for the compensation once it reaches the reseller?
Billing & Collection - Commission department.
Where can a reseller find their compensation documents?
Compensation documents can be found in the following locations within the Partner portal:
- Partner > Administration > Upfront Commission
- Partner > Administration > Self-billing > FastTrack (if the reseller is part of Telavox’s self-billing process)
- Open License and Statistics/SIP for monthly compensation.
