Direct transfer – Here you can connect the incoming caller directly to the person you call. The incoming caller has to wait until the recipient answers. If it is a colleague that you call, it is good if you check that his/her extension is available. This is done by pressing Enter twice in quick succession or by right-clicking on the contact and selecting Transfer>Directly.
Notified transfer – With this type of transfer it is you that makes the outgoing call. The incoming caller hears on-hold music while you inform the recipient about who you are about to connect. This is done by pressing Enter once or right-clicking on the contact and selecting Transfer>Notification: you then make the call and can speak to the recipient. If you press Enter again you complete the transfer. If you do not want to complete it but want to return to the caller you hang up your outgoing call using + or the Hang up-button.
To mobile – If you want to connect the caller directly to the recipient's mobile extension, this is done by either right-clicking the contact and selectingCall>mobile telephone or by using the hot keys Ctrl+Enter.
To voice response – If you want to connect the caller directly to the recipient's voice mail, this is done by either right-clicking the contact and selectingCall>voice mail or by using the hotkeys Shift+Enter.
By means of a notification – If you want to connect the caller directly to the recipient's notification, this is done by either right-clicking the contact and selecting Call>through notification or by using the hot keys Alt+Enter.
Incoming and outgoing calls can be parked using F5 and F6 respectively. A parked call is placed above the ongoing call and is recalled using the same key. The parked person hears on-hold music while the call is parked and you can, for example, pick up new calls in the queue and make outgoing calls in the meantime.
If you want to move a call from outgoing to incoming, this can be done by parking the call using F6 and then picking it up again with F6. The call then moves from being outgoing to incoming, if you do not already have another incoming call.
Switch active call
If you have two parallel ongoing calls, you can switch the active call, i.e. switch between who you are talking with. This can be done wither with the arrow keys using right and left, respectively, or the Activate-buttons under each call.
Hang up a call
Can be done either with the Hang up button under the relevant call or with -and + where - hangs up incoming calls and + hangs up outgoing calls. This is also described under all the hot keys that are listed if you press F1 in Operator.
