If you are using the Telavox Softphone or the Webapp and are in a call where you have to use keypad inputs (e.g. in a telephone exchange) it's important to know which keypad to use in the app as there are two different ones to choose from.
In the picture below we will explain which keypad should be used in what situation:
- This keypad is only used to enter phone numbers in the search/call field before you actually make the call. This can not be used during an active call. This is also used to make searches for existing contacts.
- This keypad is the one you should use while you are in an active call if you need to make choices in a telephone exchange or if you need to enter digits during a call for any reason. You will also hear a sound when entering the digits during a call.
