Prioritise calls

  1. Open the Web or Desktop app.
  2. Go to Contacts and open a saved contact that has at least one phone number.
  3. Find Prioritise calls, right below Favorite. The hint text says "Always let calls from {name} through".
  4. Turn the toggle on.
  5. Done. All of the contact's numbers are now set as priority numbers across all your profiles.

Stop prioritising a contact

  1. Open the contact's card.
  2. Turn the Prioritise calls toggle off.

All of the contact's priority numbers will be removed. If a number cannot be removed, the toggle will remain on and a message will inform you that your administrator manages it.

Check or edit priority numbers manually (optional)

  1. Go to Settings.
  2. Navigate to Telephony & Audio.
  3. Click on Advanced telephony.
  4. Select Call routing.
  5. Click on Priority numbers.
  6. Here you can see you all your priority numbers and edit them.

For administrators

Administrators can still add priority numbers via Admin portal > Users > select a user > Call routing > Create new call routing. Please refer to FAQ article How to Manage PBX Services in Table View.

FAQ

What does "Prioritise calls" do?
It lets calls from that contact through even when you have Do not disturb on or call routing set to block calls.

Which numbers become priority numbers?
All the numbers saved on the contact: main, mobile and alternative numbers. They're active in all your profiles.

Why is the toggle already on for a contact I haven't touched?
At least one of the contact's numbers is already a priority number. You may have added it in Settings, or your admin may have added it. This works with either number format (070… or +4670…).

Will turning it off remove numbers my admin added?
Yes. If a number can't be removed, the toggle stays on and you'll see a message saying your admin set it.

Why can't I see the toggle?
It only shows on saved contacts with at least one phone number. It doesn't show on your own contact card, and it's not in the mobile apps yet.

If I change priority numbers in Settings, does the contact card update?
Yes, changes sync both ways straight away.
