How to create a User in the Admin portal

This is an example of how a packaging can look in the Admin portal. Please note that the packaging may vary by customer.

How to create a User in the Admin portal

Step 1: Create a New User

  1. Click New user, then select Create user.
  2. Enter the user's:
    1. First name
    2. Surname
    3. E-mail address
  3. Check the box to send an onboarding email (optional).
  4. Add a Department to sort colleagues in the app and when they are managed in the Admin portal.
  5. Click Confirm to finish user creation.

Step 2: Assign a License to a Track

In this example we will use the "Voice" track. 

  1. Select the User from the list.
  2. In the left panel, click on for example the Voice track.
  3. Choose a license type.
  4. And Check the box.
  5. If unsure, click Show comparison to review capabilities of each license.
  6. In the comparison view, you can see all key features in each licenses within the Track (e.g to get a fixed phone number it requires the Basic license).
  7. Select the desired license and click Change license.
  8. In the pop-up window:
    1. The selected license requires a landline phone number which mean that you can select a landline phone number for the user.
    2. When done, click Next.
    3. In the next step under License activation you can choose when the license should be activated. You can choose from:
      1. Activate now
      2. Custom date (Select a custom activation date).
      3. As late as possible (The license will be activated when the period for activation ends).
    4. Click Save to proceed. 
    5. In the next step click Confirm.
    6. This is how it looks when you have select a custom date.
    7. Here you can set an activation date directly on the user, not just on individual licenses.
    8. Here you can Edit scheduled date on the license and Remove scheduled license.

Step 3: Assign Other Track Licenses

  1. For additional features such as Call Recording, select the track Software.
  2. Choose a License that requries the Call Recording feature.
  3. Use Show Comparison to view and compare license capabilities if needed.
  4. Then click Change License.
  5. Click Confirm to a the license.

The User set up is now complete and you have, created the user and assigned relavant licenses to the user.
